Jake
& Cullan
Summer Wedding
LOCATION:
Jake and Cullan met online in the spring of 2023 and, after several weeks of messages, decided to meet for their first date. A casual beer in downtown Bozeman. Though their paths to that moment had been different, the connection was immediate. They soon discovered that their values, humor, and dreams for the future aligned in all the best ways. That summer, their weekends were filled with horseback rides on mountain trails, camping trips beneath star-filled skies, and quiet evenings tackling home projects together.
What began as a shared love of Montana’s wild beauty quickly became something deeper: A partnership grounded in laughter, purpose, and an easy kind of love that felt like home. By the following fall, it was clear their story was only beginning. On a sunny Saturday afternoon ride to Mirror Lake in the Spanish Peaks, Jake got down on one knee while singing Scotty McCreery’s ‘This Is It.’ With the wilderness as their witness, he asked Cullan to marry him, and the rest, as they say, is history.
In August 2025, the couple exchanged vows at the 320 Guest Ranch, nestled between Big Sky and Yellowstone. Their celebration reflected the natural elegance of Montana: neutral florals accented by wild lupine and Indian paintbrush, rustic textures, and mountain peaks framing every view. During the ceremony, they shared a unity moment, potting a seedling Ponderosa pine in soil gathered from each of their hometowns—a symbol of the roots they’ve planted together and the life they continue to grow side by side. Surrounded by family, friends, and the sweeping beauty of the West, Jake and Cullan’s wedding was more than a celebration; it was the perfect reflection of love, place, and home.
